Wizard World Chicago 2012 Friday Summary
Day2 here at Wizard World Chicago has come and gone. Friday was a day filled with moments of waiting followed by some moments of awesomeness. First thing we did was to get some interviews set up. We ended up waiting for around an hour or so but it was worth it because we got one with Peter Mayhew(Chewbacca) right then and got ones scheduled for Kevin Nash and the Spartacus women, Lesley-Ann Brandt and Katrina Law. All of the interviews went great and Dave was especially pleased with how awesome Kevin Nash was to meet in person. He also got some interviews with some artists yesterday that you will get to see how they went down in our upcoming August mega-issue. Jason attended a couple panels, got video of Sam Trammell's and audio of the Captain's Reunion. To cap off what was an already a stellar day we went to the Hyatt Regency for the VIP Launch Party to see what celebrities would make an appearance. We weren't disappointed when Doug Jones, Holly Marie Combs, Brian Krause, Lauren Holley, Colin Cunningham, Booker T, and more showed up. Saturday is the big day. Everyone is off of work and there in full force in all their cosplay glory. Also there are a bunch of awesome panels on the schedule so we plan to get as many photos and videos of both.
