Blue Googles Films: Operation Raccoon City Short Film

The gang at Blue Goggles Films is back at it with another video game related short film. This time they tackle Capcom's Resident Evil. After it was announced that Resident Evil was going to leave behind its survival horror roots and focus instead on action they figured it was time to create a fan film that went back to the horror roots that made Resident Evil so great.

The live-action short film brings some of the new characters of the game together with some of the franchise’s favorite monsters. Shot in only 2 nights on a micro-budget, De-Pixelated: Operation Raccoon City is their ode to Resident Evil’s survival horror roots. Catch the short film after the break.

If you want to catch more great films from Blue Googles Films then check out De-Pixelated on Gametrailers.com. Each month they feature a different video game in a live-action short film; comical or serious. They might take place within the game or be about the gamers themselves. The one constant is that De-Pixelated will always celebrate the games we know and love!
