Your guide to the iPad 2 Launch

The iPad 2 launch is finally here. And if you're an aspiring iPad 2 owner, like us, then you probably can't wait to get your hands on Apple's latest tablet.

How can I get an iPad 2?

The iPad 2 goes on sale in the U.S. today,  Friday, March 11. If you're from  Canada, Germany, the UK, or 23 other countries, you have to wait until March 25. Online orders through Apple's online store started at 1 a.m. this morning and we are already seeing shipping dates stretched out to 3 weeks from today. Apple is offering free shipping for online orders.

If you want to actually get your hands on an iPad 2, you're going to have to wait in line at either an Apple Store or any one of the other retailers such as Wal-Mart, Best Buy, and Target. AT&T and Verizon will also have iPad 2 available but probably only the 3G-equipped models supported on their networks.

What iPad 2 models are available today?

As with the original iPad, the iPad 2 comes in three capacities-16GB, 32GB, and 64GB. The iPad is also available as a Wi-Fi-only device or with 3G connectivity. This time there are separate Wi-Fi + 3G iPads for both AT&T and Verizon and the iPad 2 now comes in black or white.

Let us know if you were lucky enough to get your hand on an iPad 2 today. We are heading out to wait in line at our local retailer and will have a full review for you shortly after we have played with it ourself.
