Last minute gift ideas for that Linux Geek

One of the toughest Geeks to please at Christmas might just be a Linux Geek. Being a dabbler in the way of the Tux I can see where this is true. Any die hard Linux fanatic is not going to be satisfied with a popular Apple or Windows gift. You will have to be sure to choose carefully to pick the right gift. Here are a few ideas that should go over well no matter how devoted they are.

The Linux Cheat Shirt

Starting at $15 is the Linux Cheat Shirt, this features an assortment of Linux commands displayed *upside-down* for easy viewing by the wearer.

Linux-based Wi-Fi Photo Frame

Here is one when your looking to spend a little more. The iGala Linux-based, Wi-Fi-enabled photo frame  can be hooked up to Gmail, Flickr or even your private albums. ThinkGeek has this internet connected display starting at $200.

Samsung Galaxy Tab

If you have a really big budget than be sure to splurge for the Linux geeks alternative to the Apple iPad. The Galaxy Tab--the is Android-powered and free of any Apple or Microsoft software. Remember pricing varies with the carrier.

Plush Android Doll

If your special someone is a fan of Linux then they surely are a fan of Android. Then what better way for them to show their devotion than with a plush Android robot doll available on Etsy for $20.

"Android FTW" T-Shirt

If they have an intense hatred for all things Apple then the $19 "Androind FTW"  T-shirt is for them. The shirts features the Android robot taking a bite of an apple. Plain and simple but full of one large subtle message.
